SDL Sphere

The graphical descriptive language SDL (Specification and Description Language) has been used in the area of telecommunication for system design and documentation for the last years. With SDL you can clearly describe even complex system, so that you always have the overall view of your project.

However, if only the system design and the documentation are created using SDL the considerable problem arises, that the code for the target system has to be written manually. An 'automatic' link between the templates in SDL and the source code is not available at any time. This always contains the danger, that template, source code and documentation of the system drift apart.

You create your general system design in SDL as usual, write the functions using the target language of the same interface, the desired source code, however, is generated at the touch of a button.
